Marco Castoldi, a.k.a. Morgan, in his official music video “Sincero” presented at Sanremo 2020 in collaboration with Bugo, wore a garment by “LeManuel” created with D.L. Leather Tannery’s leather.
The designer and founder of the LeManuel brand, Manuel Calabrese, during one of his interview he explained that the artist’s outfit reflects his iconic and irreverent style: The outfit worn by Morgan – he commented – is a concept of freedom and unconventionality linked to and opposed to a concept of strict moral and gender limits raised by the society we live in, that seems excessively contradictory to me.
We share moments of our personal lives on online platforms where everybody can see them, but at the same time, in real life we tend to raise limits fed by gender diversity and sexuality that oppress both my creative sensitivity and above all, being humane.
This urge of freedom and unconventionality gave birth to an exclusive outfit, created with D.L. Leather’s leather, made with an avant-garde printing technique called inject-print. D.L. Leather was not a random choice because the irpinian designer has always been active in the promotion of the italian craftmanship and savoir faire in the global context, as well as in the enhancement of his homeland and the tanning district in Solofra.
The focus on sustainability, ethics, human value and the made in italy identity are the main values that made the D.L. Leather Tannery the designer’s privileged partner, that loves finding italian craftamanship and artisanship in the italian leather chosen for his collections.
The big D.L. Leather family is proud to have contributed to Manuel Calabrese’s success and is ready to accept and win new professional challenges by his side, always with the right grit, tenacity and determination.
